Due to technical difficulties in the KMNR studios (frozen computer), we were unable to get a recording of tonights show. We’ll make sure this won’t be happening in the future.
We did talk about some interesting things on tonight’s show, though. The most important of which is about the rumors of Missouri S&T student email going to a branded version of Gmail. Unfortunately the higher-ups at the UM System IT department (and possibly the UM system president) have decided for us that we cannot use Gmail and must use Windows Live mail.
If you would want your Missouri S&T email account to use Gmail instead of Windows Live mail, speak up about it! Here’s some contact info for some of the higher ups who need to hear your opinion:

Along with a new semester on the Missouri S&T campus brings a new semester for KMNR Tech News. Unfortunately we’ve lost one of our hosts, Ron “The Viking” Erickson, due to a class conflict, but we’re far from being short on hosts. The hosts for this semester are “Dan-o” Deason, Nick “P. Rex” Pegg, and Doug Kelly.
Unfortunately we forgot to record our January 12 show, so you don’t get to hear the awesome train-wreck that was the first show of the semester. The good news is that we’re going to be well-prepared for our next show, so it should be quite awesome. Keep an eye on this page (or subscribe to our RSS or podcast feeds) for new recorded shows, or tune in to KMNR 89.7FM on Tuesday nights from 8 to 9 PM to hear us live!
