Feb 23 Show, Missouri S&T Gmail Apps

Due to technical difficulties in the KMNR studios (frozen computer), we were unable to get a recording of tonights show. We’ll make sure this won’t be happening in the future.

We did talk about some interesting things on tonight’s show, though. The most important of which is about the rumors of Missouri S&T student email going to a branded version of Gmail. Unfortunately the higher-ups at the UM System IT department (and possibly the UM system president) have decided for us that we cannot use Gmail and must use Windows Live mail.

If you would want your Missouri S&T email account to use Gmail instead of Windows Live mail, speak up about it! Here’s some contact info for some of the higher ups who need to hear your opinion:
